Gottfried Helnwein image cont.

The view point makes everything possible. Now with an other perspective of this piece, I realize that it was not made for cinematographic purposes. The artist attempted to represent a social issue in the society with this little girl's face. The detail in every single part of her face is impressive but her eyes are the ones that call my attention. They hide a really sad story, she seems really melancholy. The name he gave to his work make me think that she was the last girl being abused or mistreated. The size of the girl's face has an important meaning, like for me for example is to make people see that there are children out there suffering for any reason. There must have been a lot of work and effort to paint this peace, but as all that you make with love and passion, you get a beautiful result. I can see that is wrinkled the bottom part of the piece, but it seems like it  is a contiguous image, at least at the distance it does. It is an industrial place that is next ...

Describe the image

In this picture seems like a person is climbing a mountain but in this case, the mountain is represented as a face, and is not any face is a child face. Like he would like to reach the top of his head to get her attention. I think it can be both, because this is a piece made in a very creative way and it has a background that could have been inspired in a story of the real life. It's obviously photoshopped. The size of the person or of the face is disproportionate, and that is one of the main reasons that make me think that. Maybe one of the meanings behind this picture is to show that we are able to get whatever we want if we put effort in it. This image is just calling me to get into the story behind it that they have to tell.

Lost in the world

What is the general premise of the video? The general premise of the video is about how the bad use of technology has get to an extreme where we do not even see what is around us. Like if we were trapped in those little screens. Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?  The video is definitely effective transmitting the message to people in every sense. Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why? I think that the video represents a very close reality of the society in general, because nowadays like the video shows, we are constantly checking our phones for any reason, some of the times people do not even pay attention of what another person is telling for being in the phone. We are so immersed in those devices that we are starting to lose the real sense of what life is about.
