What is photography?

  • What questions does Erik pose to the audience?

He asked the audience about the real concept of photography.
  • What was Erik's first real passion?
To create a new experience after just taking the photo.

  • What conception of photography did Erik previously hold?

Everything was about of capturing an idea than capturing a moment.
  • How did this inspire him?
He thought that it was a puzzle in which every peace would create a new peace of art
  • What "common goal" do Erik's photos have?
Making seamless where pictures start and ends.
  • Define realism as used in the context.
Combining different realities with daily life things that we do not even imagine could work.
  • What principles does he adhered to when creating an image?
           1. Photos combined should have the same perspective.
           2. Photos combined should have the same type of light.
           3. Making it impossible where the different images begin and end.

  • Why is it easier to create a place rather than find a place?
Because you do not need to compromise with the ideas in your head.

  • How does he plan the photos?
It always starts with a sketch idea, then it is about combining the photos that will get a better result with good captures.

  • What is his conclusion?
He says that we have the tools out there to create a new experience. That the only limitation is our imagination.
